Jaxson Dart suffered a knee injury on the New York Giants‘ first possession last night in the loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The broadcast showed the Giants trainer talking to head coach John Harbaugh, saying that Dart would likely be out 4-6 weeks. There was a report later in the game that Dart’s knee injury was suspected to be minor. That apparently is not the case.

Multiple outlets are reporting today that Dart could be facing season-ending knee surgery. It has been a tough start to Dart’s NFL career. He suffered multiple injuries last year that sidelined him for a large part of the season. Now, he might be out for the rest of this season as well.

The Tennessee Titans face the New York Giants this week. Jameis Winston will be the starter in that game. Winston is one of the more entertaining quarterbacks in the league. The old joke is that you can play Winston and the defense he is facing in fantasy football because he will probably throw a couple of touchdowns to both teams. Winston should be easier to scheme against than Dart because he doesn’t have the same mobility.
