Josh Allen just keeps climbing.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback found the end zone with his legs for the second time Sunday against the Houston Texans, giving him 81 rushing touchdowns for his career and moving him into a tie with Frank Gore on the NFL’s all-time list.

Allen’s second score came in the secibd quarter, giving Buffalo a 17-14 lead over the Houston Texans.

And, yes, we are talking about a quarterback.

Allen entered the season already sitting alone atop the NFL record book for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback. His 79 were four more than Cam Newton, who finished his career with 75. Now, just two quarters into the 2026 season, Allen has moved onto another list filled almost entirely with running backs.

At 81, Allen is tied with Gore and Ottis Anderson for 20th on the NFL’s all-time rushing touchdown list.

Gore scored his 81 rushing touchdowns over a 16-year career that included one season in Buffalo. Anderson reached the mark during a 14-year career spent with the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Giants.

Allen needed considerably less time. The Bills quarterback is now in his ninth NFL season, and, with another rushing touchdown, both Gore and Anderson will be behind him.

For now, though, Allen has 81. And another line in the record book has his name on it.
