Just seven days from now, the 2026 NFL season will officially begin for our Minnesota Vikings, as they will host the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium. That means the offseason is officially over, and we asked you as part of our SB Nation Reacts survey for this week exactly what you thought about it. We have those results, and for the most part it appears that folks were relatively happy with how things went.

Of those who took the time to respond to our survey, 45% gave the offseason a “B” grade, which is pretty good. Combine that with the 7% that graded it as an “A,” and over half of our respondents think that the purple had a better-than-average offseason overall. Another 34% thought that the moves the team made merited a “C” grade, which is an average mark. So, the overwhelming majority of you seem to think that the offseason in Minnesota wasn’t anything approaching a disaster or anything like that.

Still, a few of the people who responded were more on the “gloom and doom” end of the spectrum. There were 11% of the people who responded to the poll that gave the Vikings a “D” for their offseason moves, while the remaining 3% went as negative as possible and slapped a big ol’ “F” on what the Vikings have done since the 2025 season came to an end. That seems a little harsh, but everyone is free to have their own perspective on things.

Frankly, I think a “B” is just about right. I think the Vikings addressed a lot of the things they needed to address. Hopefully the quarterback issue is solved, and if it is this team has a lot of potential to do some damage in 2026. The defense should continue to be a menace as long as there aren’t too many injuries. Will it be enough to make a run in what should still be the most competitive division in the NFL? We’ll have to see.
