The Patriots were still without one of their top offensive players at practice on Thursday.
Per multiple reports from their practice, running back TreVeyon Henderson remained off of the field. Henderson has not practiced since hurting his ankle during practice on August 24.

The team will start to give official updates on Henderson’s practice status as they get closer to Wednesday’s opening game against the Seahawks. If he remains out of practice at the start of the week, it may be at least Week 2 before he’s able to see his first game action of the 2026 season.
Rhamondre Stevenson and Corey Kiner are the other backs on the 53-man roster. Hassan Haskins and Lan Larison are on the practice squad.
