Several scouts have travelled Down Under to scout 2027 draft prospect Dash Daniels, ESPN’s Olgun Uluc tweets.

The Thunder, Warriors, Magic, Trail Blazers and Rockets have sent scouts to the NBL Blitz, with the Heat heading in later this week for the five-day event. Daniels, an 18-year-old guard, is currently a member of Melbourne United and the younger brother of the Hawks’ Dyson Daniels.

Longtime NBA assistant coach Roy Rogers has been named the head coach of the new Liverpool Basketball entry in England’s Super League Basketball, according to a press release. Rogers was most recently on the University of Memphis staff. His last assistant coaching job in the NBA was with the Trail Blazers from 2021-25. “It was paramount that we enter our inaugural season and set the tone by bringing in a coach of Roy’s caliber,” owner Jason Dolan said. “We’re talking about a leader who brings nearly two decades of NBA experience to our organisation. We’re not here just to participate; we’re building a club that will represent Liverpool to the highest standards, and Roy is the perfect coach to lead the way.”

The Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies NBA G League affiliate, has acquired the returning player rights to Yuri Collins from the Santa Cruz Warriors, Golden State’s affiliate, and a 2027 second-round pick from the Long Island Nets as part of a three-team trade. The Warriors will receive Tyler Burton’s returning player rights, while the Nets will receive Joey Calcaterra’s returning player rights and a 2027 first-rounder. Collins appeared in two games with Golden State in s024/25, while Burton played 12 games with the Grizzlies last season.
