The Jets have named their initial 53-man roster for the 2026 NFL season.

A fortnight still stands between New York and a date with former head coach Robert Saleh‘s Tennessee Titans in Week 1, and a lot may still change to the roster as the team looks at the waiver wire and makes moves to adjust the roster, with injuries and other such maneuverings could soon be underway.

The initial roster has 52 players, but the extra spot could be a spot for guard Jordan Meredith, who was acquired earlier on Sunday from Las Vegas and the deal was not yet official when the initial roster announcement was made. But for many players, Sunday was a rough one.
