The makers of the much-awaited Mirzapur: The Movie have unveiled the first-look posters of Ravi Kishan, Sonal Chauhan, Mohitt Malik and Sushant Singh, offering fans a glimpse at their characters in the upcoming theatrical release.
Ravi Kishan will be seen as Babban Babua, while Mohitt Malik plays Birju Lohar. Sushant Singh has been introduced as Bhairav Singh Karnawat, and Sonal Chauhan will portray Mumtaz Bibi. The posters introduce the characters as important additions to the film’s storyline, which continues to expand the popular Mirzapur universe.
The first-look posters were shared by Excel Movies on Instagram. The announcement comes after the makers released the film’s trailer in August, giving audiences a glimpse into the battle for the coveted throne of Mirzapur.
Set in the world established by the first season of the hit franchise, Mirzapur: The Movie brings back several popular characters, including Kaleen Bhaiya, Munna Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit. The story revolves around the race for the Mirzapur throne, with familiar faces returning and new contenders entering the conflict.
The film features an ensemble cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohitt Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Shweta Tripathi, Sonal Chauhan and Sushant Singh, among others.
Presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, the film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner, with Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani serving as co-producers.
Mirzapur: The Movie is scheduled to release theatrically on September 4, 2026.
