The Seattle Seahawks continued their preseason schedule Sunday night with a 19-16 loss against the Tennessee Titans, their second loss in as many exhibition games.
These preseason games are about much more than the final score, and that is exactly where I want to take the conversation after the game. With roster decisions getting closer, every rep matters for players trying to earn a role, move up the depth chart or secure a place on the 53-man roster.

One of my biggest areas of focus will be the wide receiver room, especially after the season-ending injury to Jake Bobo. His absence changes the depth picture and creates a real opportunity for some of Seattle’s younger receivers like Montorie Foster Jr and Ricky White III to step forward.
The quarterback room will also be a major part of the postgame discussion, with Jalen Milroe playing the second half and not playing particularly well, throwing a pair of brutal interceptions and taking another crucial fourth down sack.
Another area of discussion is Seattle’s offensive line depth. I wanted to see improvement in both pass protection and the run game, especially when it comes to communication, handling pressure and creating movement at the line of scrimmage.
Defensively, the young secondary and depth along the defensive front will be worth watching closely as several players continue fighting for roles, but unfortunately that secondary depth took a big hit with the loss of Bud Clark.
