Michael Bandy is another player who just keeps sticking around as he fights to find a way onto the field more consistently. He’s spent much of his time in the NFL on the practice squad.
He did get some chances last season as he suited up for 4 games for the Broncos. That speaks well to him knowing the playbook and both the coaches and quarterbacks trusting him to run his routes well.

2025 stats: 4 receptions, 50 yards, 1 TD
The level of competition for the wide receiver room in this training camp is stratospheric. Bandy is in a room with Mims, Franklin, Humphrey, Butler, and 4 rookies, all slugging it out to get a spot on the roster.
Bandy runs clean routes from what I’ve seen. I like his quickness, and he shows good hands when I have seen him get a few opportunities.
I like Bandy as a depth player. He’s reliable, but the question becomes whether or not you keep a guy who looks like he’s at his ceiling as a depth receiver over higher-potential rookie receivers.
I have a hard time arguing that Bandy is a guy the Broncos need to keep around this season. That means he’s got to impress this training camp. If he doesn’t pop off in his chances in training camp and the preseason games, he’s a likely cut heading into the season in all honesty.
