Well, we can finally stop the discussion about Brendan Sorsby, and focus on the discussion of getting Jacoby Brissett back into the fold as the NFL has declined to hold a 2026 NFL Supplemental Draft.
Sorsby has been battling the NCAA for months trying to maintain his eligibility after he was declared ineligible for gambling on college football, including his own games.

That always begged a question from me… was he gambling on himself or was his dismal play at the end of the season a factor in his gambling?
That is why I wouldn’t want to take a chance early with a supplemental pick with Sorsby, and now the Cardinals don’t have to worry about it at all until the 2027 NFL Draft, which gives every NFL team more time to figure things out.
So now, the Arizona Cardinals can turn their focus back to Jacoby Brissett’s contract and figuring out what they have in Carson Beck.
For now.
