Bo Melton spent most of last offseason training to play cornerback, a position he never ended up getting on the field for during the 2025 season. Despite the reps at cornerback, Melton did see playing time at receiver, the position he originally played for the Green Bay Packers, throughout the year.
Up until this week, the Packers kept Melton listed as a cornerback on their official roster page. Following the first day of organized team activities, when Melton worked with the offense full-time, the team has now changed Melton’s position to wide receiver on Packers.com.

So if you were playing around with a projected 53-man roster or something, keep this in mind moving forward. Melton is a receiver again, not a cornerback.
Over his three years in Green Bay, Melton has played in 38 games and has caught 28 balls for 416 yards and two touchdowns. He’s also run the ball 16 times for 110 yards, and he’s returned 20 kicks for 482 yards.
