Who says exes can’t be friends? For many commoners it’s difficult, but celebrities are usually not bothered and move on pretty fast, at least in the eyes of the public.

Once a power couple, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who parted ways in 2021, are now happily married to their respective partners. Naga is married to Sobhita Dhulipala, while Samanatha found love and married director Raj Nidimoru. 

The couples with their respective partners were seen at the producer Sunil Narang of Asian Cinemas’ daughter Simran Narang’s reception held in Hyderabad on Saturday evening.

Apart from Chay, Sobhita, Samantha, and Raj, the star-studded shaadi was attended by several Tollywood celebrities, including Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna.

Several photos and videos have gone viral, showing Samantha along with her second husband, director Raj Nidimoru; they didn’t hold each other’s hands and appeared awkward and distant, while Naga Chaitanya was seen with his second wife, actress Sobhita Dhulipala. However, there was no interaction between the ex-couple, nor were they spotted together in the same frame.

Netizens noticed the cold chemistry between Samantha and Raj Nidimoru and the romance, hand-holding, and cute moments between Sobhita and Chay. Many claimed that Sobhita and Chay look better and have a very dignified persona and presence compared to Samantha and Raj.

A user wrote, “I cannot feel any love between them. Comparatively, Chayhay and Sobita are far better together. Seems like Samamm rushed in 2nd marriage too!!”

Another wrote, “He looks so happy after marrying Shobhita. God bless you .”

For the event, Chaitanya donned a dark blue blazer, while Sobhita exuded grace and looked classy in a blue saree with pink tones, flaunting her short hair. Samantha opted for a purple-and-gold saree for the occasion; she kept her long tresses open.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family at Sadhguru’s Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, at the Linga Bhairavi Temple, in December 2025.

It also marked Raj Nidimoru’s second marriage. He was previously married to Shhyamali De.

Samantha and her first husband, Naga Chaitanya, got married in 2017 and ended their union in 2021.

After separation, Naga Chaitanya married actress Sobhita Dhulipala in an intimate Telugu-style wedding at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on December 4, 2024, in the presence of close friends and family.
